• Society of Dyslexia — One of the Founder of Society of Dyslexia, a non-profit organization located in Staten Island, NY. Created logo and all branding for society including website (https://societyofdyslexia.org), badges, letterheads, business card and all promotional materials.
• Travel Agent Professional — Online travel magazine for the Home Based Trade Agent. I started TAP in dedicated to the memory of Joel M. Abels (Former owner of Travel Trade who died in 2007). I organized and design both the online magazine (all issue can be found on issuu.com and website (travelagentprofessional.com)

• BuilderMedia, Inc— Responsible for the design, layout and prepress production of Bi-monthly magazine Dreams.
• ScienceVision — Creating all materials for regional medical conferences: Poster, cover, badges, master slides for PowerPoint presentations, etc.
• Casale Design — Creating and updating a variety of Web sites ranging from Medical, travel to small personnel sites.
• Flaghouse — Creating flyer and special promotional materials.
Travel Trade Publications, New York, NY Feb. 1994 to Dec. 2007
Creative Director: Responsible for the design, layout and prepress production of weekly national newspaper, Travel Trade; two monthly magazines, Cruise Trade and Home Based Trade; and up to 60 special supplements throughout the year. Design and maintain the company’s Web sites. Create all banners, podcasts and E-mail blasts. Create all in-house trade ads. Create all promotional materials for Travel Trade’s two annual industry conferences and trade shows, including flyers, handouts, newsletters, E-mail blast, etc. Work directly with clients to design special sales supplements for such companies as Hertz, American Express, Holland America Line, Celebrity Cruises, SuperClubs and more. Design showcase advertorials and wraps for both newspaper and magazines. Use Adobe Photoshop to retouch and quality control all photos used in all publications. Oversee and delegate all projects to freelancers. Train new employees on QuarkXPress, Adobe Photoshop, etc. Also responsible for technology used by both the art and editorial departments. Purchase all software, hardware, plus troubleshoot and solve problems. Supervised the implementation of Travel Trade’s automated computer-to-plate (CTP) production system.
Metal Center News, New York, NY Dec. 1990 to June 1994
Art Director: Dealt directly with all production of Metal Center News, a monthly steel and construction equipment trade magazine.Transformed Metal Center News into a fully functional desktop publishing magazine using QuarkXPress. Designed all templates, style sheets, library, etc. Worked with computer staff to update Metal Center News to function with editorial staff though the use of CopyBridge. Designed covers, including the selection of all photos, type, color and concept. Directed the design of all sections, including the main features and regular departments. Used of Adobe Illustrator and Aldus FreeHand 3.0 to create charts and line illustrations. Worked with the editor on special projects, including the annual “Metal Distribution” and “Service Center Directory”, which involved collating and unifying all material done on and off premises. Interviewed, selected and supervised freelance illustrators. Handled accounts payable for each issue.
Redbook Magazine, New York, NY Nov. 1989 to Dec. 1992
Graphic Designer: Assistant to art director. Created promotional and advertising pieces from concept to design and mechanicals. Art Directed monthly promotional pieces. Supervised Special Advertising Supplements, which included concepts, design, the layout of products for photo shoots, plus selection of props. Coordinated with Art Director in designing and producing Special Advertising Sections. Assisted Art Director in selection of fashion models, photographers/illustrators. Prepared board and slide presentations used by regional sales personnel at special promotional events. Assumed Art Director’s project responsibilities in her absence.
Seventeen Magazine, New York, NY March 1988 to April 1990
Graphic Designer: Created promotional and merchandising pieces from concept to design, mechanicals and overseeing printing productions. Art Directed specific projects such as “Seventeenews”, “Beautynews”, “Y.A.C.”, and specific monthly promotional pieces. Created collateral material for SEVENTEEN promotional events. Supervised freelance designers. Assisted Art Director in the design, layout and production of special advertising sections and supplements.
